Program -1

Women Empowerment Training

We could conduct Women empowerment training on March 2^nd for three residence association members at Paravur. Classes were conducted for over 60+ women members and session were led by Smt Anjali ,the famous spokesperson for central government aided projects in Kerala.

The session was chaired by Jcrt Chairperson Aswathy Vijish in the presence of LOM President JC Jiyesh Ponnedath. Lom members including JC Reshmi Murali, Region coordinator Jcrt wing, Joint secretary Rani Niresh graced the function .The function threw light on various schemes that women can use to empower the arenas that they work in.

Women health Check-up Camp

JCRT Wing of JCI Paravur Town could conduct a mega medical camp for women in association with Ambadi seva kendram .We could serve around 100 women with medical check-ups, blood tests, ECG and other routine checkups.We could also distribute medicines worth RS 26,000 (twenty six thousand). Program Was inaugurated by Dr Arun, in the presence of Jcrt Chairperson JCrt Aswathy Vijish , LOM President JC Jiyesh Ponnedath, Region Coordinator Jc Reshmi murali and Joint secretary Rani Nireesh.

Honouring 5 distinguished women

We JCrts of JCI Paravur town , zone XX, honoured 5 distinguished ,self-driven women ,who have excelled in their domain with their own confidence and determination. The Chief guest of the award night was our own Zone Director JCrt wing , JC Manju Malathy.

All the 5 awardees were selected with great scrutiny.

The 5 awardees are as follows:

Social Cause-Smt Geetha , a lady for the past 27years dedicated her life for nurturing orphans and homeless mothers. She is a living example of how a mother cares for children. She has taken care of over 100 +orphan children and helped them reach success in their life. An ideal person for selfless social service.

Education- Smt Jyothy AR, a teacher for the past 19 years, was instrumental in bringing many reforms in the educational syllabus in the educational department. Mrs Jyothy is also well known for the creative ways in which she makes her students understand the subject.

Agriculturist-Mrs Sreedevi,a homemaker , who supported her cancer ridden father in law to develop a hobby in agriculture ,slowly took it’s a passion , started moving into hydropaunics and aquaponics and developed her interest. A hardworking homemaker, she relay deserves for her commitment.

Entrepreneur- Mrs Smitha , is an ever smiling homemaker , who to help her husband , moved into the idea of textile business. With her determination and creativity, she slowly developed her business named “TOP Collections” and showed the society her calibre in business arena.

Sports- Kumari Abhirami-a go-getter ,who with her adversities in family life , made night into day by practicing for more than 15 hours a day and showed her presence in state and national games. A real fighter in life, Kumari Abhirami is being looked upon by entire kerala for her talent.

JCrt wing could provide trophy, certificates and Ponnada to the 5 awardees in the presence of packed hall.

Chaired by Jcrt Chairperson Jcrt Awathy Vijish , supported by President Jiyesh P, Jcrt Regional Coordinator JC Reshmi MUrali , Joint secretary Jcrt Rani Nireesh.

Training- “THE SOCIALLY UNSOCIAL MEDIA”

A Training about “ SOCIALLY UNSOCIAL MEDIA” was conducted by JCI Senator Vijish Nair at our family GB. The main highlights is about the average daily time spent on Social media like Facebook, Twitter, Watsapp etc. Also tips and tricks in Social Media. The programme was chaired by Jcrt Chairperson Ashwathy Vijish in the presence of Zone director Jcrt wing Manju Malathy, LOM President Jc Jiyesh Ponnedath, Regional coordinators Jc Reshmi Murali, Joint secretary Jcrt Rani Nireesh and other lom members.

Donation and Hunger project- “PAKAL VEEDU”

Jcrt wing of JCi Paravur town could conduct a very noble project by handing over Rs 10,000 Cash to “ PAKAL VEEDU” (an old age home for women's). Also we conducted “Annadhanam” on the same day. The cash was handed over to the officials by Jcrt Chairperson Ashwathy Vijish in the presence of Regional coordinator Jc Reshmi Murali and other LOM members.

INSTALLATION OF COVID -19 AWARENESS BOARDS

JCRT wing of Jci Paravur Town installed COVID -19 awareness boards in the heart of Paravur Town. Precautionary measures against Covid -19 were explained through this. Subhayatra coordinator Jc Tina Maneek inaugurated the function in the presence of Jcrt chairperson Ashwathy Vijish, Regional coordinator Jc Reshmi Murali and other LOM members.

KILINEERU

JCRT wing of Jci Paravur Town could conduct March Theme ‘PRITHVI’ Kilineeru project by making feeder for birds in this hot summer. Jcrts made water feeder and food feeder for birds . Jcrts and JJ’s made bird feeder and shared the photograph in watsapp group.

EARTH HOUR

We Jcrt wing of Jci Paravur town conducted Earth Hour on March 28 by switching off the lights from 8.30 p.m to 9.30p.m. We light a candle, lamps etc and helps to restore the Earth. Entire JC Family members observed this in their home and shared the photos of the same.
